One of my most fun collaborations to date has been my partnership with athleisure brand, Peach because if there's anything better than a brand that understands women, it's a brand that understands women well enough to know that the more versatile their product is, the more it is guaranteed to be loved and chosen over and over. If you remember the last outfit I styled using Peach essentials, I made a cozy pairing of a hi-lo hem tank and joggers work for an extensive schedule of professional meets play. The "Parisian Collective" is all about looking and feeling well-styled with minimal frill and maximum luxury. Layering pieces like the Alina Hi-Lo tank took center stage to allow for a variety of looks that incorporate effortless staples...
Because I'm a city girl-on-the go, I knew that I'd need a look to take me from my busy days at the studio, to a day date with my best friend and ultimately a cozy night on the couch, catching up on whatever Netflix series I'm crushing on. The Margot funnel (available in heather grey and pirouette blush), is the just the top for the job. In it's design, Peach has married "the comfort of a sweatshirt with the style of a chic sweater" with perfectly placed seams for superb detailing. I think of this piece as one of the easiest tops to stack over skinny jeans, pencil skirts and anything that needs a wider piece on top to balance out my silhouette. The pink shade is a millennial's dream and the fabric is so. crazy. soft.
I was drawn to the "Barre legging" because of a) the name and b) the color variety (it comes in three shades). In my role as a part-time ballet teacher, I've repurposed the quite "you can never go wrong with a little black dress" for my black legging collection and I commend Peach for taking me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible with this steel grey pair. I sized up in these soon-to-be wardrobe essentials (normally an XS) because the waist felt a little snug for my sometimes "quick change" lifestyle but everything else about them is divine, right down to their literal seamlessness for a long, line and clean look.
The day I shot these looks I was fresh off a three hour day in the studio and was maximizing my time by switching in and out of a few different looks as quickly as possible. Aside from having nothing but a sports bra on under this longer hem, bracelet-length top, this look was pretty darn cozy and I was thankful for the soft, touchable fabrics on that chilly New England day. While I chose to make this look more sporty by pairing it with lace-up sneakers, you could easily swap out my favorite Primark trainers for slip-ons or a knee-high flat boot. Wear either of these pieces when you're in need of anything that begs for elevated pieces you can wear all day no matter how busy or lounge-friendly your schedule is.
