loft-y #goals.
It's officially spring now which means white is back, florals are in focus and pastels are the name of the game. Over the weekend I hosted a private shopping party at LOFT at Market Street with my blogging bestie, Olivia, and we had a blast mingling with other bloggers, sipping on mimosas and playing with spring trends. Keep reading for my seasonal #musthaves as well as a few photos from the event...
Florals | "Groundbreaking", I know but a top like the one above covers all your bases whether you're trying to be whimsical, nail the seersucker-vibe this season or have a thing for sleeves. Pair this top with white jeans or dark blue slacks and you've got an outfit fit for a special occasion or a night on the town. // Shop it.
Pastels | Mom swears I look better in jewel tones but there's something about pastels that really has a hold on me lately. I love the sleeve on this top and the unexpected volume gives petite ladies like me a little more dimension. This top can be dressed up or down with black jeans or an open-front blazer. // Shop it.
Pleats | I find these pleats to be the most fun for a number of reason; 1) the metallic shimmer is a party all by itself, 2) it can be for work or play, and 3) it's a wardrobe staple in an unexpected color which means you'll be making a statement as long as all of your other pieces let this one take center stage. // Shop it.
Sandals | As an occasional heel-wearer I have to be honest, I am so into the fact that block heels are such a thing right now. If you're trying to look and feel cute, stilettos are just not your friend. These block heels are cute and functional and make for the perfect pop of color for spring. // Shop it.
Lace | With the most romantic of the embellishments, this tee is so easy to wear. You can go monochromatic here without being too severe or pair it with white jeans for a classic two-tone look. For "Causal Friday" pair this top with red pants and black flats for an easy day-to-night ensemble. // Shop it.
White | Everyone needs a white sweater in their arsenal for an easy top to pair with jeans on chilly days. Have it on hand for after the sun goes down on the 4th of July and for any beach day that turns into a beach night. This is a piece you will wear and re-wear until the temperatures start to drop again and will basically pay for itself. // Shop it.
Stripes | I'll admit that I was a little hesitant to board the lace-up train at first. Perhaps it reminded me too much of the skin-tight Mudd jeans from my youth. This top, however, is not your-2000-era-lace-up trend. In fact, it's so grown-up that I would argue that you could even wear this out to dinner with the right pair of pants. White jeans and block heels will take this trendy top up a notch for sure. // Shop it.
