Here are some things you might not know about me; I love falling asleep to the sound of rain, I'm not good at avoiding complimentary bread baskets and I subscribe to the notion that leggings are pants. The latter made my latest collaboration with Waltham-based brand Peach a no-brainer. I mean, if "contemporary fashion for gym, work and play" doesn't sound like a resolution made and achieved in one fell swoop then I don't know what does. And there's nothing I like better than a versatile wardrobe, especially when it's shot by my dear friend Ali.

The pieces I selected from the "Parisian Collective" line were simple yet easy to style. The design team at Peach understands that their clients want a wardrobe that empowers and elevates an already extensive schedule and compliments everyday activity with effortlessly chic pieces.

The Alina Hi-Lo tank and French Terry joggers are quite the duo. Made of amazingly soft and powerful wicking fabric, the longer lines on the Alina are made to cover your backside so that leggings are always an option. I am crushing super-hard on this tank because of the higher neckline because it means I can wear it anywhere and everywhere without fear of bending over and causing a scene. And for masters of the half-tuck, you can opt or opt not to add dimension to this piece with a dolphin hemline of your dreams. As for the joggers, Peach would say, "these are not your college sweats" and they are for sure not. This trendy bottom is styled with a "subtle, signature chiffon trim" and space-dyed fabric to make you want to wear them wherever you go.

My love for athleisure has a long history dating back to when I was running from ballet classes to rehearsals. Now that I'm older and styling myself more intentionally, brands like Peach are changing the fashion game by creating pieces that work as well together as they do with contemporary pieces available in the mainstream market. Convenience has transformed sportswear for the fitness-conscious to functional fashion that is accessible to everyone. Frankly, I hope its a trend that survives for as long as I have been trying to "make it work"...

Admittedly, it was a little chilly on location at the Arnold Arboretum when I shot this look but the Alina tank is made for you to show off your "arm day" or light enough to layer with an open-front cardigan. As I mentioned, tucked in or out is an easy way to change up the style of this crazy soft top with everything from your favorite joggers or jeans. The joggers are just as fun to style with their dark hue and modern texture and are just as comfortable in a causal setting as they are paired with heels.
